1. Your Right to Delete
PasspoPet stores all your data locally on your device. There are no accounts, no servers, and no cloud backup operated by us. This means you have full and immediate control over your data at all times.
This policy explains exactly what data the App holds and how to permanently remove it.
2. What Data the App Holds
PasspoPet stores the following data on your device only:
- Your owner profile — name, phone number, country, emergency contact, vet clinic
- All pet profiles — breed, species, gender, date of birth, color, and microchip ID
- All vaccination records and health events
- Pet photos you have added
This data is stored in the App's private sandbox on your iPhone and is never transmitted to PasspoPet servers.
3. How to Delete Your Data
Option 1 — Delete within the App
You can delete individual pet profiles from the pet list, and clear your owner profile from the Profile tab. This removes the selected data immediately and permanently from your device.
Option 2 — Uninstall the App (Complete deletion)
Deleting the PasspoPet app from your iPhone removes all data the App has ever stored, with no residual data remaining anywhere.
Option 3 — Email Request
If you have concerns about data or need assistance, contact us at support@passpopet.com. Because we do not hold your data on our servers, there is nothing we need to delete on our end — but we are happy to clarify or assist.
4. What Is Not Affected
- Payment records — Apple retains records of in-app purchases (optional donations) in accordance with their own policies. PasspoPet does not store payment data.
5. Before You Delete
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Before removing your data, we recommend:
- Exporting your pet's health report as a PDF (via the in-app export feature) for your personal records
- Noting any microchip IDs or vaccination dates you may need in the future
